By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in this Policy. Information you provide

When you sign up for a CWR account we ask you for personal information (such as your name, e-mail address and an account password and may require your date of birth, gender, mailing and billing address, and zip code). We may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other CWR services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services.

We also use your name, e-mail address and other information on our system to notify you of new product releases, service notifications, events, and to solicit your feedback and input. We may also use your information, or a portion thereof, to send you marketing materials and/or CWR newsletters or other information CWR thinks you may need, unless you notify CWR that you do not wish to receive such materials. Please contact us to request that you not be sent any or all of such information.

We do not currently maintain any procedures for you to review the information that we collect about you.

Retention of personal information

When you close or de-activate your account or if your account is otherwise terminated, we have the right, but not the obligation, to store your personal information, settings, saved and completed classes, and teachers you have followed.

      we do not store any data on your device.

      we monitor activity in, and uploads to, boxes. this is both to ensure there are no violations of the terms and conditions, or in order to comply with requests from law enforcement or other authorized government agencies.

      we store any data that is necessary for the display and processing of a box (e.g., the box contents themselves, and any settings or customizations that have been made to the boxes). we also store your contact details so that we can get in touch with you for purposes in connection with the business. we also store usage metrics in order for our internal teams to improve the community box experience.

      we are committed to your privacy and we do not share data with any 3rd parties, except in the case of requests from law enforcement and other authorized government agencies.

    5. how we process your data

      your data is stored and processed in the form of reports, and real-time monitoring and metrics. these are used internally within our company to allow us to improve our services so we can improve the community box user experience.

    6. how you can obtain and erase the data we store about you

      if you wish to obtain copies of any data we store about you, or for us to erase that data (note that this would imply terminating your account with us), then you can email hello@communitybox.co with the subject line "gdpr request" and we will follow up with you to ascertain what action is required.

Service providers

analytics: our platform integrates google analytics on many pages in order to track traffic and monitor usage of our services. this data could then be shared between other google services, which may include using the collected data to personalize ads provided by google’s own advertising network. more information on the privacy practices of google can be found in their privacy policy. google offers a browser extension that can be installed to opt-out of their analytics service found here.

retargeting: some pages on our platform may use retargeting services provided by facebook to advertise on third-party websites to you after visiting pages found on our site. you can learn more about this type of interest-based advertising here. this third-party vendor uses cookies to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your previous visits to our platform. you can opt-out of this type of marketing by following the steps provided by facebook here.

we don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.
